It all began when the lovely Chantelle, on a three-day holiday from the office (she is a solicitor with Mackerel & Filcrum & Sons & Daughters) was relaxing in front of her TV, having just completed a little jog. So she is in her tracksuit and sneakers, having warmed the fuck down. So that’s how it began. Here’s what’s happening now: A brisk knock at the door gets her attention and the agile beauty slinks down the hall to open it. Standing before her is a hot, leggy blonde in formal dress, heels and with a lovely cravat about her throat (best place for one). She claims to be from the estate agents and wishes to give the property a free evaluation. Chantelle, foolishly it turns out, agrees.
Once inside the house, the deception quickly becomes apparent, for in fact that hot estate agent is after a datastick filled with the case notes on her armed robber boyfriend, ‘Dutch’ Winston CarpHouse. This guy is facing a ten stretch if these prosecutors get their way and she’ll be damned if she is going to make it easy for them. So she is her for that datastick. Turns out somebody else is too – ‘Mad’ Scotch Higgins, a local lunatic who has an old score to settle with her partner. This guy wants those notes for an altogether different reason, but we get ahead of ourselves!
